Race Categories
Teams: Minimum of two but up to five riders per team:
The Cyclery Open Men’s and The Cyclery Open Women’s
Industrial Controls Mixed – a minimum of one female
Richard Pearse Tavern Superman Vets – all riders must be over 40 on race day
Pope Print Corporate Challenge - can be made up of staff, family of staff and clients of a company
Under 19 Men’s and Under 19 Women’s - all riders must be under 19 on race day. School teams may enter the Inter-School 12 Hour Trophy
Solo
Howes Cycle Solo 12 Hour : Separate categories for Male and Female.
Reiker Cycles Solo 6 hour: Separate categories for Male and Female
Entry Fees
Team rider aged 19 years or older $70 each person
Team rider aged under 19 years $60 per person
Solo 12 Hour - $100
Solo 6 Hour - $100
Under 19 Solo Rider (6 hour or 12 hour) $75
Late entry fee applies after Wednesday 7 November 2012.
After this date a late entry fee will apply. No entries accepted after 14 November 2012.
If you decide not to race after your entry has been accepted, and you let us know in writing by 7 November 2012, we will give you a refund of 50% of your entry fee. After this date no refund will be payable.
Terms and Conditions of Entry
By registering for this race you accept the following terms and conditons of entry:
1. I agree to abide by all event rules and directions issued by the event organisers.
2. I acknowledge that participating in this event involves a potential risk of serious injury or death. I am aware of the hazards involved and in my judgement I have su cient competence and experience to participate safely.
3. I consent to receiving medical treatment that the event organisers consider desirable during or after the event.
4. I acknowledge that if circumstances warrant, the organisers reserve the right to alter the advertised course or change the event format and I consent to such changes and agree that each and every one of the conditions herein set out shall apply to that changed event.
5. Requests for refunds must be notfied in writing to the organiser before the entry closing date. No entry fees will be refunded after this date. Prior to this date an administration fee applies.
6. In the event of any “act of God” causing a cancellation of the event, or personal circumstances preventing me from participating, my total entry is non-refundable.
7. I consent to the event organisers using my name and details, voice, image or likeness before, during or after the event for legitimate purposes and at no cost.
8. I hereby release the event managers and all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the event from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of my participation and I hereby indemnify them against all liability, financial or otherwise which might arise whether or not by negligence or the negligence of others for injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in this event. This release shall extend to and include the organisers, other competitors, volunteers and medical personnel, the owners, licensees, and occupiers of land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted, any statutory body or local authority having control over any land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted or which is involved directly or indirectly with the event in any manner whatsoever including promoters, sponsors and event organisers. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representative and assigns.
9. I have read and agree to all the safety information, rules and conditions of entry.
